Auburn Showdown Tournament Champions!!!! SE Hornets!!!!
Hornets Family and Friends,
Great effort today from our SE Hornets! Congratulations to our 8th grade, 9th grade, and 10th grade teams. Our 8th grade are Runner Ups in the Auburn Showdown Tournament this weekend. Our 9th and 10th grade boys won the tournament Championships! Great job to Coach Malcolm, Coach Charles Jones, and Coach Will Pyron! Well Done!

"To Kill A Mocking Bird" Video Synopsis - for 9th Grade Hornets

Below is a link to a video Sparknotes synopsis of the great novel "To Kill A Mocking Bird" by Harper Lee. Some of our 9th grade Hornets are currently reading this great novel in Honors English at Central High School's Freshman Academy. Even if the others are not currently reading it, this is one of the classic pieces of American Literature that all of our Hornets need to be familiar with as well.

SE HORNETS' TUTORING SCHEDULE
Hornets' Family and Friends,
We've kicked off our Spring and Summer Tutoring Program . . .and we're off to a Hornets' great start. Our first session, as you can see from the schedule below, was held on Thursday, March 22nd at the Phenix City Public Library. We had a great time practicing writing the Perfect Essay and, in Science, we studied and practiced Newton's Laws of Motion . . .fun, fun, fun!
Be sure to keep the schedule handy so our Student-Athletes can take advantage of these wonderful opportunities to "Leap Ahead of the Pack" in their academics, which we all know, comes first for our Hornets!
